A big thank you to all of you who made the KubeCon + CloudNativeCon NA 2021 such a great success for Learning.kasten.io!  Whether you were at the show in person or attended virtually, we had a great response — over 4,500 registrations, hundreds of labs completed, and great attendance at the virtual office hours for the learning session during the week of Oct 11-15.

The in-person booth solutions showcase and virtual booth interactions were valuable and provided us insightful feedback on how to improve the Learning site and the resources we provide.

Helpful Feedback and Pending Improvements

We have received outstanding input from many of you about our Learning site, https://kubecampus.io/courses/, where Kubernetes users can complete a series of labs and earn badges upon completion. Andre Atkinson, a Senior Cloud Platform Specialist, who was involved early and tested the site, commented:

“The Kasten Learning site was well laid out, which made it simple to navigate and find what you were looking for. The ability to earn badges gave me a sense of accomplishment after each lab, motivating me to continue the learning experience. The labs themselves were thought-out and concise, with easy-to-follow steps that solidify the learning process, whether you are new to Kubernetes or a regular user. I use Kubernetes moderately in my work life and found the learning site to be engaging and challenging. Kudos to the Kasten team for the fantastic learning experience and amazing support.”

If you haven’t had a chance, now is the time to complete labs 1-3 or the KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Special Edition Lab — an accelerated introduction to the learning series environment and resources.

You’ll be awarded badges for individual labs as well as for completing all 3 labs that comprise the first lab module — Kubernetes Basics:
